 1 השוכר את                                                   הפועלים ואמר להם להשכים
  ולהעריב מקום שנהגו שלא להשכים ושלא להעריב אינו יכול לכופן מקום
 שנהגו לזון יזון לְסַפֵקלספק במתִיקהבמתיקה יספק הכל כמנהג המדינה מעשהבר׳ ברבי יוחנן
 10 בן מתיה שאמר לבנו צא ושכור לנו פועלים ופסק עמהם מזונות וכשבא
  אצל אביו אמר לו אפילו את עושה להם כסעודת שלמה בשעתה לא יצאת
  ידי חובתך שהם בני אברהם יצחק ויעקב אלא עד שלא יתחילו במלאכה צא ואמ׳
  ואמור להם על מנת שאין לכם אלא פת וקטנית בלבד רבן שמעון בן גמליאל אומר
  לא היה צריך לומר אלא הכל כמנהג המדינה:                                          
 15 2 אלו אוכלים מן התורה העושה במחובר לקרקע בשעת גמר מלאכה ובתלוש
  מן הקרקע עד שלא נגמרה מלאכתו ובדבר שגדוליו מן הארץ ואלו שאינן אוכלין
  העושה במחובר לקרקע בשעה שאינה גמר מלאכה ובתלוש מן הקרקע מאחר
  שנגמרה מלאכתו ובדבר שאין גדוליו מן הארץ:                      
 





                              3 והיה עושה בידיו אבל לא ברגליו ברגליו אבל לא בידיו אפילו
  על כתיפו הרי זה יאכל ר׳ רבי יוסי בר׳ ברבי יהודה אומר עד שיעשה בידיו וברגליו:  
 
                        4 היה עושה בתאנים לא יאכל בענבים בענבים לא יאכל בתאנים
  אבל מונע הוא את עצמו עד שהוא מגיע למקום היפות ואוכל ועל כולם לא אמרו
 30 אלא בשעת גמר מלאכה אבל מפני השב אבדה לבעלים אמרו הפועלין אוכלין
  בהליכתן מאומן לאומן ובחזירתן מן הגת ובחמור עד כ שתהא פורקת:
