5 החצרות ראויות לבית שער. כופין אותו
לבנות לעיר חומה ודלתים ובריח. רשב״גרבן שמעון בן גמליאל או׳ אומר
לא כל העיירות ראויות לחומה בית שער
כמה יהא בעיר ויהא כאנשי העיר שנים
עשר חדש ואם קנה בה בית דירה הרי הוא
10 כאנשי העיר מיד:

את החצר עד שיהא בה ארבע אמות לזה
וארבע אמות לזה ולא את השדה עד שיהא
20 בה תשעת קבין לזה ותשעת קבין לזה. רבי
