1במה מדליקין ובמה אין מדליקין. אין מדליקין לא בלכש לא
בחוסן ולא בכלך לא בפתילת האידן ולא בפתילת המדבר
ולא בירוקה שעל פני המים לא בזפת ולא בשעו׳ בשעוה לא בשמן
55 קיק ולא בשמן שריפה לא באליה ולא בחלב. נחום המדי אומר מדליקין
בחלב מבושל. וחכמי׳ וחכמים אומרים אחד מבושל ואחד שאינו מבושל אין מדליקין
בו. 2 ב׳ אין מדליקין בשמן שריפה ביום טוב. רבי ישמאל אומ׳ אומר אין
מדליקין בעיטרן מפני כבוד השבת. וחכמים מתירין בכל השמני׳ השמנים . שמן שומשמין
שמן אגוזים שמן צנונות שמן דגים שמן פקועות בעיטרן ובנפט. רבי טרפון אומ׳ אומר
60 אין מדליקין אלא בשמן זית בלבד. 3 ג׳ כל היוצא מן העץ אין מדליקין
בו אלא פשתן וכל היוצא מן העץ אינו מטמא טומאת אוהלים אלא פשתן.
פתילת הבגד שקיפלה ולא היבהבה רבי ליעזר או׳ אומר טמאה ואין מדליקין בה. רבי
עקיבה אומר טהורה ומדליקין בה. 4 ד׳ לא יקוב אדם שפופרת
של ביצה וימלאנה שמן ויתנינה על פי הנר בשביל שתהא מנטפת אפילו היא
65 של חרס ורבי יהודה מתיר. אם חיברה היוצר מתחילה מותר. לא ימלא
