כירה שהסיקוה בקש או בגבבה נותנין עליה תבשיל. בגפת או בעצים לא יתן עד שיגרוף או עד שיתן את 20 האפר. בית שמאי אומרין חמין אבל לא תבשיל. ובית הלל אומרין חמין ותבשיל. בית שמאי אומרין נוטלין אבל לא מחזירין. ובית הלל אומרין אף מחזירין.
2ב׳ תנור שהסיקו בקש או בגבבה לא יתן בין מתוכו בין מעל גביו. כופח שהסיקו בקש או בגבבה הרי הוא ככירים. בגפת או בעצים הרי הוא כתנור.
3ג׳ אין נותנין ביצה בצד המיחם 25 בשביל שתתגלגל ולא יפקיענה בסודרין ורבי יוסי מתיר. לא יטמננה בחול ובאבק דרכים בשביל שתיצלה.
4ד׳ מעשה שעשו אנשי טיבריא הביאו סילון של צונין בתוך אמה של חמין אמרו להן חכמים אם בשבת כחמין שהוחמו בשבת ואסורין ברחיצה ובשתייה. ואם ביום טוב כחמין שהוחמו בי׳׳טביום טוב ואסורין ברחיצה ומותרין בשתייה. מולייר הגרוף שותין הימינו בשבת. אנטיכי אע׳׳פאף על פי 30 שגרופה אין שותין הימינה.
5ה׳ מיחם שפינהו לא יתן לתוכו מים צונין בשביל שייחמו אבל נותן הוא לתוכו ולתוך הכוס כדי להפשירן. האילפס והקדירה שהעבירן מרותחי׳ מרותחים לא יתן לתוכן תבלין אבל נותן הוא לתוך הקערה או לתוך התמחוי. רבי יהודה אומר לכל הוא נותן חוץ מדבר שיש בו חומץ וציר.
6ו׳ אין נותנין כלי תחת הנר לקבל בו את השמן ואם נתנו מבעוד 35 יום מותר. אין ניאותין ממנו לפי שאינו מן המוכן. מטלטלין נר חדש אבל לא ישן. רבי שמעון אומר כל הנירות מיטלטלין חוץ מן הנר הדלק בשבת. נותנין כלי תחת הנר לקבל ניצוצות ולא יתן לתוכו מים מפני שהוא מכבה׃
