פרק רביעי. 1
תפילת השחר עד חצות. ר׳ רבי יהודה או׳ אומר עד ארבע שעות. תפילת המנחה עד הערב. ר׳ רבי יהודה אומ׳ אומר
עד פלג המנחה. תפילת הערב אין לה קבע. ושלמוספין כל היום. 2 ר׳ רבי נחוניא בן הקנה
5 היה מתפלל בכניסתו לבית המדרש וביציאתו תפילה קצרה. אמרו לו תלמידיו מה מקום לתפילה
זו. אמ׳ אמר להן בכניסתי אני מתפלל שלא תארע תקלה על ידי. וביציאתי אני נותן הודאה על חלקי.
3 רבן גמליאל או׳ אומר בכל יום ויום מתפלל אדם שמונה עשרה. ר׳ רבי יהושע או׳ אומר מעין שמונה עשרה
ר׳ רבי עקיבה או׳ אומר אם שגורה תפילתו בפיו מתפלל שמונה עשרה. ואם לאו מעין שמונה עשרה.
4 ר׳ רבי אליעזר או׳ אומר העושה תפילתו קבע אין תפילתו תחנונים. ר׳ רבי יהושע או׳ אומר המהלך במקום הסכנה
10 מתפלל תפילה קצרה מעין שמונה עשרה ואו׳ ואומר הושיעה יי׳ את עמך את יש׳ ישראל בכל פרשת העיבור יהיו
צרכיהם לפניך. ב׳א׳י׳ ברוך אתה יי׳ שומע תפילה. 5 היה רוכב על החמור ירד. ואם אינו יכול לירד יחזיר
את פניו ואם אינו יכול להחזיר את פניו יכוין את לבו כנגד בית קדשי הקדשים. 6 היה רוכב
בספינה או באסדא יכוין את ליבו כנגד בית קדשי הקדשים. 7 ר׳ רבי אלעזר בן עזריה או׳ אומר אין
תפילת המוספין אלא בחבר עיר. וחכמ׳ וחכמים אומ׳ אומרים בחבר עיר ושלא בחבר עיר. ר׳ רבי יהודה או׳ אומר משמו כל
15 מקום שיש בו חבר עיר היחיד פטור מתפילת המוספין.
