קרחת הכרם בית שמי אומ׳ אומרים עשרים וארבע אמות. ובית הלל אומ׳ אומרים שש עשרה אמה. מחול הכרם
בית שמי אומ׳ אומרים שש עשרה אמה. ובית הלל אומ׳ אומרים שתים עשרה אמה. ואי זו היא קרחת הכרם כרם
שחרב מאמצעו אם אין שם שש עשרה אמה לא יביא זרע לשם. היו שם שש עשרה אמה נותנין
35 לה עבודתה וזורע את המותר. 2 ב׳ ואין זהו מחול הכרם בין כרם לכרם. לגדר אם אין
שם שתים עשרה אמה לא יביא זרע לשם. היו שם שתים עשרה אמה נותנין לה עבודתו וזורע את
המותר. 3 ג׳ ר׳ רבי יהודה או׳ אומר אין זה אלא גדר הכרם ואי זהו מחול הכרם בין שני
כרמים. ואי זהו גדר שהוא גבוה עשרה טפחים. וחריץ שהוא עמוק עשרה ורחב ארבעה.
4 ד׳ מחיצת הקנים אם אין שם בין קנה לחבירו שלשה טפחים כדי שייכנס הגדי הרי זו
