  גדי על גבי שידה תיבה ומגדל שאחז בהם את האור מפני מפני שהוא מחרך. עושין מחיצה בכל הכלים בין מלאים בין ריקנין
  בשביל שלא תעבר הדליקה. ר׳ רבי יוסי אוסר בכלי חרש חדשים מלאים מים שאינן יכולין לקבל בהן
 5 את האור והן מתבקעין ומכבין את הדליקה. 6 ז׳ נכרי שבא לכבות אין אומ׳ אומרים לו כבה או
  אל תכבה מפני שאין שביתתו עליך. אבל קטן שבא לכבות אין שומעין לו שכן שביתתו עליך.
  7 ח׳ כופין קערה על גבי הנר בשביל שלא תאחוז בקורה ועל צואה של קטן ועל עקרב שלא
  תישך. אמ׳ אמר ר׳ רבי יהודה מעשה בא לפני רבן יוחנן בן זכאי בערב ואמ׳ ואמר חושש חוששני אני לו מחטאת.
  8 ט׳ נכרי שהדליק את הנר משתמש לאורו ישראל. ואם בשביל יש׳ ישראל אסור. מילא מים להשקות
 10 בהמתו משקה אחריו יש׳ ישראל ואם בשביל יש׳ ישראל אסור. עשה גוי כבש לירד בו ירד אחריו יש׳ ישראל . ואם בשביל ישראל
  אסור. מעשה ברבן גמליאל וזקנים שהיו באין בספינה ועשה גוי כבש לירד בו וירדו בו זקנים.
