גיד הנשה נוהג בארץ ובחוצה לארץ בפני הבית ושלא בפני הבית בחולין ובמוקדשין ונוהג בבהמה ובחיה בירך שלימין ובירך שלשמאל ואינו נוהג בעוף מפני שאין לו כף ונוהג בשליל ר׳ רבי יהוד׳ יהודה או׳ אומר אינו נוהג בש' 20  בשליל וחלבו מותר אין הטבחים נאמנים על גיד הנשה דב׳ר׳ דברי רבי מאיר וחכמ ׳ וחכמים אומרים נאמנים עליו ועל החלב

ב׳ שולח אדם לנכרי ירך שגיד הנשה בתוכה מפ׳ מפני שמקומו ניכר הנוטל גיד הנשה 25  צריך ליטול את כולו ר׳ רבי יהוד׳ יהודה או׳ אומר יקיים ב׳ בו מצוות נטילה

ג׳ האוכל מגיד הנשה כזיית סופג את הארבעים אכלו ואין בו כזית חייב אכל מזה כזית ומזה כזית סופג שמונים ר׳ רבי יהוד׳ יהודה או׳ אומר אינו סופג 30  אלא ארבעים

ד׳ ירך שנתבשל בה גיד הנשה אם יש בה בנותן טעם הרי זו אסורה כיצד משערין אותה כבשר בלפת

ז׳ ונוהג בטהורה ואינו נוהג בטמאה 5  ר׳יהוד׳ רבי יהודה או׳ אומר אף בטמאה אמ ׳ אמר ר׳ רבי יהוד׳ יהודה והלא על בני יעקב נאסר גיד הנשה ועדיין בהמה טמאה מותרת להם אמ ׳ אמר לו מסיני נאמ ׳ נאמר אלא שנכתב ב׳ במקומו
